It may be the 1935-D 1-R-VI which is pictured in the book "The Lincoln Cent Doubled Die" copyright 1984 by John Wexler. However this is the same as listed in the CONECA files as a 1935-D DDR-001 1-R-VI.

Send it to James Wiles. See what he says..

I believe John Wexler is planning to continue on with his 2004 Series on Lincoln Cent Doubled Dies, picking up at about the point in time of your coin's year, 1935. So if your does not turn out to be the CONECA DDR-0001, there may be hope in IDing it as there may be other 1935-D DDRs in the Wexler files and may be listed in John's upcoming book.

Contact James Wiles at:

jameswiles@sbcglobal.net (jameswiles@sbcglobal.net)

You would not be sending Lincoln Cents straight to John Wexler for attribution instead they go to John Bordner.

Contact John Bordner at:

jwb209@epix.net (jwb209@epix.net)

To osubmit a coin in order to have it attributed is approx $5,

If possible you may want to consider joing both CONECA and NCADD.
