    1952-D 1mm-021?

    Hi:
It's a snowy day - so I started looking at some rolls of wheats we have found. This one looks like a 1mm-021. Kind of a wierd rpm.
    thx

Coppercoins.com shows three splits on both serifs but I do not see any on this coin. I think there is one similar to your coin that might not be an actual rpm. I am sure someone more knowledgeable will pop in and let us know for sure.

If your talking about the thing coming off the 9 in the date, that is not an RPM, but a die crack.

It's a bird! It's a plane! Aw nuts... It's merely two die scratches!

i checked the mintmark with a loop 10x and it does show evidence of extra serifs - not as well defined as the one on coppercoins - might be a later die stage and offcouse some wear.

Roger could you isolate the Mint mark and show it enlarged. Thanks .

the die crack from the 9 to the mint mark, is a key marker. i found one a few weeks ago.
