    Is this a 1946 S/D OMM #1?

    I think this may be an S over D and would like an opinion. Thanks in advance! Oh, the pics were the best I could get with what I had, so the color is still a bit off, maybe it was the lighting, I don't know.

    I just cannot see it, but that does not mean it isn't there. Someone who knows much more than I about the anomaly will likely be checking in soon. Still, it seems to be a nice coin.

      If I stand on my head, it almost looks like an inverted "S" mint mark....seriously.....almost.

        I'm not sure; the MM seems to sit a little higher than OMM-001 and unlike some OMMs the D is usually rather obvious under the S.
