    My Christmas gift to myself

Just had to have the crown jewel of the 72 line up and bought one for myself. Not a screaming blazer ms version but now I can say I have one of my own.

Nice ! I might argue the "crown jewel" part but it is the most significant doubling...I could probably see that without a loupe

Yes it is a great coin - some would argue the die 4 - but for dramatics - it's the die1.
I remember when we found our first one. My daughter and I danced around the room!
      Congrats - I'm jealous!

Awesome pickup uglycent! I feel that I will be forced to follow in your footsteps very soon. Still hoping to find one in the wild, but I will own it one way or another before its all over.

I have seen ms66 reds pcgs for less than a 1000! The ones that are gaining in price are the circulated ones!

Dealer at the local antique market has an PCGS MS63RB (missed RD by a small dot of discoloration on both sides) for 495, and he offered to drop to 450. Might pick it up next weekend, depending on how nice christmas is to me. Nice pick though... it's a beautiful coin in *any* condition
