    1983p ddr 002

Well I've been gone for almost 3 months and finally found time to do coins again. So I got $10 worth at the bank just to get me started. This popped out of the 11th roll I searched and got me quite excited. Was a good way to start roll searching again .

Also found 1995D-1DO-005, and 1983P-1DO-005 but this kind of outweighs those so thought I'd just shine the light on it.

Good eye! Now, you're right back in the swing of things. I hope rolls 12-20 are just as fruitful.

Thanks everyone! It's nice to find something worth while every now and then. Going to grab some more rolls from the bank today since the one's i've gotten so far have been very fruitful. Just about every roll had at least one variety in it.

I agree! Now I have one to match the 1983P that had deceptive MD with the same type of spread. )

I was looking to trade some WAMS for one of these a while back until I was told that the 002 was more rare than 001 even though the 001 is still more valuable. Glad I decided to go a different direction. lol!

My question is would you keep it raw or slab it? And if slabbing, who would you use?

I'm not a plastic guy Scott...but if I want to sell, I use PCGS for the CPG varieties...ANACS for all others simply because they are the only game in town when it comes to non CPG varieties.

Is that a clash/gauge on the obverse neck/collar area? The picture is small on my iPhone but I see something there. That sure is a real nice DDR, congrats!!

I'm not sure. I'll check it out when I get home to see if there is a clash on the obverse. Thanks!
