    1953s RPM or DDD

    Well there seems to be some doubling on the Upper Serif tip, along with the upper loop... Not sure if the DDD on the 3 means all of this is DDD.. mm position is too close to the date to match any current coppercoin listings...

    Any chance this is a new rpm?

    To me it looks like MD. The reason for this, to me, is I feel it would show at least some extra thickness on the inside of the bottom loop.

      It's MD. You can see how it carves out of the normal sized S. The DDD on the 3 is not related.

        The third pic looks flat and shelf like. The pics are so hard because they are fuzzy on top and dark at the bottom. From what is presented in the pics. MD...
