            Thats interesting I thought 1996D only had the lathe lines like that. Now I know there are other years also that have lathe lines similar to 96D.
            Life is not about greatness but on the impact of good onto others. It is a matter of how much one shines. Explains why I like shiny coins.

                  There are actually quite a few other dates Jason has listed with lathe lines. As I always say...look at everything. You never know what you might find.

                    Those are certainly lathe lines. Although 1996D might be the most common date for them, it is certainly not the only date. Like Bob says, check everything.
