    1960 Small Date help attributing

Its been an extremely long time since I have posted anything or have come across anything worth posting. However, I wanted to post this because it appears to be a a small date in addition to having the major die chips under the in the "R" in Liberty but also having a huge die chip on the "6" within the date of 1960. Although I know I am posting horrible pictures it has the die chips of wexlers stage three double die. But isn't the 1960 doubled die a large date with the die chip within the R? Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated. The coin has allot of dirt on it but no real flaws however the dirt is making it hard to attribute.

    Thanks
    Chris

Chris...Die chips are extremely common on the 1960 cent...especially the small dates. The first thing of note is that you can not identify a variety by the fact that it has chips on them. The chips are used as a marker. You must be able to see the variety in order for it to be a variety, and use the other things, such as chips as markers

Die chipping is common the SD '60s. The R in LIBERTY and the one in TRUST are both also seen with chips; that chipping is often referred to a a skirted R.
