While going through a stash of UNC 1959-D rolls that I have been meaning to get to, I came across this peculiar cent. Notice the anomaly protruding from the tail of the 5. It looks like it could be a wayward D. The closest thing on CC I could find is the 021, but that anomaly is on the tail of the 9, not the 5. Could I have discovered another RPM?

Definite gouging. These late '50s and early '60s cent dies went through hell for some reason.
