So what do you think the value is? Hasfam you had one that appeared to be MS63ish Red raw sell for $24. We cannot see this whole coin, but judging from the inner rim and hits on the digits, this one would be VF, maybe low XF. Just curious.

Here is the most recent one on Teletrade in MS62 Brown for $21 http://www.teletrade.com/coins/lot.a...=3379&lot=1219

Another one before that in MS64 RB for $12 http://www.teletrade.com/coins/lot.a...=3322&lot=1244

Both of those are PCGS slabbed examples. This one the OP is showing is raw, and no where near MS.

You're right. I shouldn't have interfered and expressed my opinion 'out loud'. My apologies. On the other hand, I think a desire to purchase the coin might have have been better via a PM. My thinking was that the OP might be a new collector which prompted me to respond the way I did, which I know was the wrong thing to do publicly. Again, my apologies.

I do not feel as if you are interfering. I simply wanted to know why you thought it was worth more than $3. I am in the process of working on a project on values of varieties , mainly raw values. You sell lots of them and have had a lot of experience. You obviously feel this coin is worth more than $3. I want to know how you came up with that opinion. I shared where I came up with my $3 valuation. I think it is great that you have an opinion. I just want to know more about that opinion is all. Just another part of the education process.
