    1947-S class VI

    I went to post this in"DIE VARIETIES BY YEAR" forum and could not find a listing. Did I overlook it? OH yeah trying something new with photos,

    It is not a Class VI DDO. It does not have the 'twisting' on LIBERTY of the extra thickness on the 9 of the date.

      I think the '47 master die already had slight extra thickness to it. There is a little in IBE, the E in WE and a tad in R in TRUST. So it has to go beyond that and show more extra thickness and distortion.
