This one is kinda neat. Shows a class 9 doubling of the knees.

I often wonder about these DDR's. How do the knees get doubled, and not the columns?

I'm not sure. I have seen them with the columns and knees doubled, just the knees and just the columns. Maybe BJ has heard why.

Based on everything over the last two weeks.. Couldn't that very well be orange peel/lamination or infact other errors?

Some do have bubbles in the area of the statue however most class 9 doubling in this area can be identified fairly easy after looking at a several thousand. I have kept a few dozen that I felt were worthy of carding for future reference not they they would bring much of a premium if any. I do think they are worthy of collecting if only for the sake of collecting them for myself. I think I may have even kept a few with bubbles as a reference as well, not sure though. The collection is starting to spread all over the place.:D

Yeah.. I hear ya.. I have about 2lbs of coins waiting to photograph.. I have the body of my new Canon Digital Rebel Xti 10Mega-Pixel DSLR camera here, just waiting on the lens.. So those 2lbs I'm itching to photograph and put into my web database.
Then I'll match up the scope shots with the full coin shots. Depending of the lens does, I may end up getting the Canon 100mm USM (Macro) lens..:)

I went out and looked a few cameras today. I didn't see anything that I liked but it's just dreaming though for now.

I've owned the Canon 30D and old Digital Rebel. I feel strongly when I say the Digital Rebel Xti from Canon is perfect for the non-professional.. It does everything..

Here's one that is very obvious that the knees are doubled.
