I was wondering if this was machine doubling or something else?

I love it when it is so obvious:

Richard S. Cooper Some have asked about my images I use, and I'm glad to say I've completed a DVD of these. Ask if you are interested. Newer members like these.

I am going to jump in here if beginner and say what you might be thinking, at least I was when I started out. That statement "See how it reduces the devices". I would think what the heck does he mean by devices? Devices usually refer to the numbers and letters among other things. If you follow the size of the number or letter where it seems to drop off and that highest point of the number or letter shrinks down in size to accommodate that drop or step down, it is usually MD or machine doubling. If say that 9 on the top on your coin was the same size all the way around as where it starts at the bottom with then an added roll or drop down next to 9 with the nine 's highest point never changing in size and staying full size with then a drop down added. Think of your stomach full size and then think of it after a thanksgiving meal and how you gain that extra roll with out the original roll not losing any of its size, that would be a DD.

tnspro, please don't think we are picking on you. I am newer than you are. I was tickled at Amadauss' Thanksgiving dinner description. Feeling like a DD right now just thinking about Thanksgiving on the way

See the red button that says "thanks" at the bottom right hand corner of every post? that is the "like button".

                        tnspro-

PM me your mailing address and I'll send you a couple of '68-D DDOs- they're very similar to the 68-S DDOs and once you see them in hand it'll be very easy to know exactly what you're looking for! Keep the example you posted images for comparison purposes.
