    Help with 62D

I'm terrible at variety searching cents from the 60s. I'm pretty sure this isn't anything but have to ask. Is there any distortion in trust primarily the S? Thanks!

Which Variety are you trying to locate? I think if you are thinking Doubled Die then you should focus on the the Date.

There is only one listed DDO for 1962-D on coppercoins.com. You should post a full image of the date as well as the motto and Liberty.

I will tomorrow, but my question is whether or not the S in trust looks distorted.

I do see thickness on the tops of the Ts, the base of U and the split on the S.

I don't have a strong feeling if it's a doubled die, I'm just not sure

Might post the rest of the coin, it might show if wear caused some of the thickness.
If you see a ramp on the E or some curved verticals on LIBERTY that would be convincing.

It is rather difficult to say on a circulated coin, and I am curious as to what you think the 'distorted' is. Normally, on a class 6 DDO, the bottom of the U and S of TRUST is where you would see the extra thickness. I don't see any, but as others have pointed out, we need to see a bit more like the date and WE.
