    1970S RPM #2

I found this 1970S RPM 2 back over Thanksgiving. Is it just me or is this die hard to come by?

Well, I've never found one. Of course, I'm on the east coast!

I'm thinking back and I'm fairly sure that I have never found a S rpm in the wild. Here in Va. it's an incredible find . Sweet , Congrats !

And that is a very nice RPM. And really nice image of it.

Make that a check for Blizzardville, NY too. "S" mints VERY few and far between...and not errors!

            Beautiful find, Dave!!

Awesome, David! Looks like it is in nice shape too! That is fun to look at. I believe I have one of these, but it was most likely a purchase from someone and not a random find.

Awesome find there! I have actively looked for this RPM going back to when I first started searching for varieties. I have only found 3 total out of nearly 3,000,000 cents searched. By comparison, I have found 18 RPM #1's over the same time period. This is indeed, a very scarce RPM! Well done!

Thanks everyone! I was very excited to find it. I have searched countless 1970's and I have only found one small date and this RPM 2. I have yet to find an RPM 1 (which I need for my top 100). One day I am sure a RPM 1 will cross my loupe.

Great find, even in the Pacific northwest where we have an abundance of S MM's it is still rare to find a RPM for 70. I Have only found a #001 in the wild.
