    Is this 1955P-1DO-003?

Since Frank informed me of the "Ski Jump" today... this is one I was looking at last night and trying to decide if it was a hit on the E or something else. Tossed it in the "not sure" box.

"Not sure" if you can tell by my photos, but let's give it a try Thank you for helping!

Not sure, Viv...I don't see the extra thickness on LIBERTY, but maybe the lighting is throwing me off

Deceptive, but it looks like die wear. LIBERTY on 003 is the best pick up point.

Thank you Maineman, I can't focus any better that what you see, devices are mushy...and old. I'll hold it until I can get a better photo.

This one is not a DDO. I think the die deterioration is contributing to the 'ski jump' look of the E of WE. Ultimately, there is no extra thickness or distortion on LIBERTY, the date, or motto that would make it a class 6 DDO.

I will look again later, just had my eyes worked on and can barely see for a few hours.

Oh no uglycent, is it the usual eye exam dilation? Hope so! Thank you for coming back to this once that wears off!

Yes, a dilation to take images of my retina after an optical neuropathy several years ago. I only have one good eye to protect.
I agree with the others on die deterioration as well, not enough width and bend on Liberty.
