    1920-S WDDO-001 cherrypick

This 1920-S I picked up off ebay about a week ago. The photos in the listing are a bit blurry, but I could see the doubled eyelid and the mint mark position matched my plate coin. This example also has pretty nice strike doubling as well, visible on LIBERTY.

Die varieties such as doubled dies, Repunched mint marks (RPMs), Over Mint Marks (OMMs), Repunched Dates, Overdates, coin design varieties, as well as regular coins and error coins.

Nice pick... Wexler does not list any markers but I think I see one... There appears to be a die dot on yours and Wexlers... On yours it is just west of the small ding toward the south end of the eye and looks to be in the same spot on Wexlers sample!!!

          Nice eyelid.

The strike doubling on liberty is interesting.

Could you download my photo and circle what you are referencing? I'm not sure what you are seeing. I own both the Wexler example and the above, so I could pretty easily check to see if the possible marker is on both coins.

I took a look at the area in question. It appears to be damage under the scope. I would not consider it any sort of likely marker. I did cherrypick a third example of this variety though yesterday on ebay so I will see if I can find any additional markers (other than MM position) on this coin.
