    1988d

Still looking for those transitionals and found this 1988D tonight and thought I would post it. I can't find this die listed anywhere but there are a few similar. It shows a tilted secondary MM.

Looks like an RPM to me. I can't figure out which one. Maybe you found a new variety?

Either RPM-005, RPM-006 or RPM-001. I say RPM-005 with the Rotated MM CCW.

Fella's To Identify this RPM will be Tough. First he needs to show a Date/mintmark relationship, where exactly is the mintmark with comparison to the date. There are only two I see from the books #2, #5 that are tilted in this direction, I have a copy of #5 so if he can back off the pic, I can tell if it is that one....

OOPs sorry I didn't open the other Pic... Notice that the "D" tilts towards the "8" in the pic? now look at #2, tilts towards the "9", not that one. #5 is closer to the depth of the "9" but is turned. I compared to my varified copy and it is NOT #5... I have a copy of this coin he has also that I never sent in, I figured to minor to list because there is no lower serif. If I remember correctly some of these were deleted by ncadd as die damage, like the 71-73-D defective punches coneca deleted.
