    2004 P WDDR-034 plus a nice little struck through!

Cool little DDR with a struck through bonus! I could not find the marker for sure though.

    Thanks for looking, Jon.

Congrats on the DDR Jon but the anomaly looks raised.
Is my brain inverting the image and it is really incuse?

I don't think it's a struck through either. Struck through's don't terminate like yours does. They would show over the devices (the column and stairs) as well as inside the bay. The attribution looks good though.

Congrats Jon! Nice DDR! I'm with Cliff tho... can't tell if the anomaly inside of the bay is raised or incuse. It looks raised at each edge, but incuse in the middle and that doesn't make much sense to me. If it's incuse I would lean toward it being PSD (it's crazy how areas like that can get scratched after the strike without affecting anything else around it). But if it's raised, maybe it's die damage?

Thanks Cliff, Viv and Bob for attribution verification!! I'm sorry, I'm not sure what I was thinking, it is raised and likely a die gouge or abrasion.

Thank you for the follow up Jon! Okay it's raised. Yes, I agree with you, the die probably got bumped with something right in that unusual spot just to make us wonder what happened not seeing any die polishing scratches, so I'm guessing it's a die gouge.

I gave it a good toothpick test just to make sure it wasn't some sort of bubble and it's solid. I didn't think about something getting trapped under the plating though. It's very clean and consistent. Maybe a little piece of rim or something that got sheared off?

I zoomed in best I could and it looks to be die damage... As it enters the inner column from the bay it narrows slightly gets about half across the thickens up again until it disappears into C5... There also is a couple of similar, same angle and real short, looking scratches at the bottom of B6 and just north of the pedestal base next to C6!!!
