    1911 D RPM 1

Finally Cherry Picked a coin off Great Collections. Even with their better than average ebay photo I find the detail and lack of sharpe focus make it hard to pick on that site Anyway, this is in an unattributed PCGS AU 55 Holder which is better than the AU 53 I currently own.

    Enjoy

Thanks Viv - I was actually hiding out in your lovely state the whole time. Every time I checked my change I felt like I was encroaching on your finds ! LOL.

Nice pick... Yours must be a much later die stage than the CC http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...1&die_state=md or VV http://varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20R...911DRPM001.htm samples... CC is MDS and VV has Stage A and B... The upper serif on your secondary MM looks larger and much closer to the primary MM... Your coin also has some serious die flow lines compared to the others... Maybe a VLDS/Stage D or later??? Maybe one to send to Wiles for inclusion in their files??? Wish CC was taking in newer listings!!!

            Nice pick Bob.
Easy to see that extra serif.

                Very nice 11-D.

I agree with their grade at 55.
It's only got a little rub on the ear, above the ear and cheek to be an MS grade.
