1942d RPM002

Sorry for the pics but using an external light [at an angle] is the best way I could get this coin to show the particulars.

There is a die gouge between the 4 and 2 that I am using as a marker. I am not seeing it on other coins so hopefully not a working die thing.

Could not find a crack across EPU and [to me] the coin looks to be late stage so that is a bit confusing.

Looks good to me T! Where you are pointing out the die gouge between the 4 and the 2 is showing up on Stage C and D. On Stage C I'm also seeing a same horizontal gouge just below the one you are referring to on your coin as well. Nice find!

Nice find T!! I agree with Viv, it looks good from where I sit but we'll let the master pic it apart here shortly. The flow lines are so heavy, you did well to see this, definitely an LDS coin. Congrats on another FS find!!

Not sure why that gouge wasn't used as a marker unless it is also present on multiple LWCs from '42.

Nice find... MM position looks good to me... Don't forget that the opposing dies often get changed out in later stages so any markers may not exist... Comparing yours with CCs 002 https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...&die_state=lds and VVs 002 http://www.varietyvista.com/02a%20LC...942DRPM002.htm I would think yours is at least a VLDS/Stage E??? Your secondary MM looks weaker than both VVs and CCs... Plus your die flow lines are much heavier than CCs LDS... A candidate for updating VVs files!!!
