Unknown 1943-D DDO [Class VI]

Possible unknown ddo. Looks to be a mild class vi with the date, WE and LIBERTY affected.

In an overlay it lines up very well with 1DO-13, but the markers are just not there to justify -- The shoulder crack is different and my coin does not have the lapel crack or the reverse crack. I believe mine is at a later stage.

It certainly does look like a minor Class 6 DDO. In cases like this, and with it being minor, it is very possible it is an undocumented variety. If markers do not match, you are correct in assuming it may be a different die state, but the devices are still pretty sharp, so it is not anything later than MDS in my opinion.

Thanks, the coin's surface texture is poor and hard for me to tell about the die stage.
