I think I finally got a real one. Looks just like the one on Coppercoins.com.

Am I right? What do you think it will grade? Anybody need it? I need uncs in the 30s for my album.

It is RPM 1. I think that this is the boldest S over S in the series. These are usually found in mint sets. It is tough to tell from the pictures, but I would say it should grade anywhere from AU-58 to MS-62.

Is this fairly common? What do you think its worth?

Picked one up a couple years ago in Boulder CO. Gem BU MS65 w doubling over the 7 for $10. Though have cherried three @ .25 cents each. You can find that RPM in Mint sets also. Will locate that one w/ the doubling at date and post... It was neat.

That 70-S you found along with some wide RPMs from the 60's, even though fairly common, are so dramatic that they are are always a pleasure to come by. Almost do not need a glass to id.

Nice find.
