Pat,
This one looks like a clipped planchet to me. It shows a beveling of the rim into the clip and if you look directly opposite of the clip at the other side of the coin you should see what looks like damage or a flattening of the rim known as the Blakesley effect. I like those clipped planchets and have a few myself.

I was glad you agree those were my thoughts too just not has technical, but it looked clipped vs cut post mint..
