    1951d Rpm#4 ???

Going through some of my cents in 2X2s I ran across this one that I only have marked as MM south. Looks like it may be the Top 100 RPM#4 in LDS. The photos I've seen of the RPM#4 do not show a die crack from the tail of the 9 to the tail of the 5 like this one has. What do you all think.

Years ago when just getting into Varieties . I got a bunch of Lincoln cent RPMS from M. Ellis, which to this day are still in their 2x2 flips. Took 'em out of storage and realized there are some really nice ones and in some tough die stages. This was all before the "TOP 100" ( just like that icon )

Sounds similar to your instance here . Will surprise us what we have just "laying" around .

I've got boxes and binders of 2X2ed cents and others and many are variety coins but Just haven't been able to or had the time to identify. Maybe someday.

Lot of the guys as they get older they gon'na sell off all those extras and never get around to it...

At a show a few weeks back a collector friend who knows I like varieties had three coin tubes of circ LC varieties ( mainly rpms from 40 and 50s ) he asked me to take a look. There was a time I would have just bought the 3 rolls however I was certain I had many of them. So instead I attributed the better part of the lot for him in exchange for the 46D RPM 15 and 43D RPM 11.

I'll will see him tomorrow. I will ask him if he ever sold those 2x2'ed or the remainder in the tubes. Knowing him he probably stills has 'em .
