Hi everyone, Sorry i don't have a picture, but i went to ebay to check out the new lincoln 2009 penny's and i saw this really good one for 1.99 and free shipping. Do you guys think i should buy it? He said he just went to the bank and got them, made sure he didn't put his fingers on the front and they are fresh from the mint. What do you guys think i should do? Buy it? Or wait.

200 X face? You have to be kidding me. I just picked up a roll of William Henry Harrison dollar coins. I would like to get 200 X face value for that roll and I wont charge shipping or insurance.
WAIT, WAIT, WAIT. They will be in your neighborhood bank soon and they will be $0.01.

You know, I second guessed my purchase of a box dated before February 12 a thousand times now, and I still have this nagging fear that I frittered money away. Still, the price on even the 2009 D boxes keeps escalating, and someone has a D box for 700 right now. I still think that historically, a box before the official release is a good bet as something that can be authenticated as the "early releases" that the hawkers are so fond of trotting out on HSN and others. On the other hand, the eventual worth may not lie in the date, but in the quality of the strike on the cents themselves. Time will tell.Comment

I do not regret any purchase I have made as it would not do any good and I still have the product or coin.
However time will tell on the lst Issue of Boxes of Lincolns from KY as they may hold there value if you don't open them for Historical reason. You are right Legend "Time will tell".Last edited by Guest; 03-04-2009, 06:23 PM.Comment
