The last bags I've seen were in 1998. 2001 is new to me but you have first hand knowledge of them. So, Thanks...I'll change my mental data base to include bags up until 2001.
Yup, I was buying "U.S. Mint" bags with "2001-D" stamped on them directly from the Brinks guy in Springfield, Missouri all summer long in 2001. I think I bought 10 bags of them before stopping.
2002 rolled around, and the bags stopped. Coin World ran a story about the new 'ballistic' bags that Spring. I put 2 and 2 together and figured that was why I was no longer able to get sealed bags.

Thanks Again! Just think though....maybe we could have ordered a pallet full of cents. We'd still be looking through them:-)
