When I lived in Columbia I liked to go to Alan Anderson on Bernadette St. Very nice man with good prices. I also went
to the guy under Parkade Plaza when I would go back up to see my kids. I haven't been to either place since 2003.
People at pawn shops down around where I live in No. Arkansas do not know coins. They seem to take an AG coin, run
it through some sort
Bill of buffing machine, and it is inastanly BU to them, so it seems. There is one fellow down here that
is in Batesville that I could never buy a penny from nor would he buy any of my pennies. I have rolled up hundreds of
wheat rolls, wrote the word "wheat" on each, sold them to another guy who in turn sold them to this guy, and he never
knew. He said my wheats were obviously "bled dry" and worthless. How many did he sell of these that had "wheat"
written on them and he said many, many, many! They were great coins. ALSO as stated here, "never go anywhere
without your loupe"
